Do you want to learn how to stand up paddleboard in Lake Atitlan Guatemala? I had the chance to interview Marshall, a Canadian expat who currently lives in Atitlan with his wife Annette. He's a big fan of Latin American food and says that the weather is perfect year-round. Listen to my interview with Are we home yet? podcast episode 29 guest, Marshall, about fully enjoying expat life in Lake Atitlan Guatemala and running a Stand Up Paddleboard business.

Guatemala is a fascinating country to live in, both for its weather and its culture. The country has a thriving Aboriginal culture, and it is interesting to see how the indigenous people of Guatemala are still living in their ancestral ways. Living among their culture is quite an experience, and it is also fascinating to watch as they interact with the modern world. From a weather perspective, Guatemala is just a fantastic place to live, it's called the land of Eternal Spring. The climate is perfect for those who love the outdoors, and there are plenty of activities to keep you busy. Whether you enjoy hiking, biking, or simply spending time in nature, you'll find that Guatemala has something to offer. In addition to its great weather, Guatemala also boasts a rich cultural heritage. If you're interested in learning about the country's history and customs, you'll be sure to find plenty of opportunities to do so. Whether you're looking for an adventure-filled vacation or a peaceful place to call home, Guatemala is sure to please.

One of the most notable features of Guatemala is Lake Atitlan, a large lake in the southwestern part of the country. Lake Atitlan Guatemala was once voted one of the "Most Beautiful Lake in the world." It is located in the Highlands of Guatemala, nestled amid mountains and volcanoes, and lush vegetation. Visitors to Lake Atitlan Guatemala can enjoy the stunning scenery, relax in the peaceful atmosphere, and explore the rich culture of the local people. Every year thousands of people come to experience its beauty for themselves. Lake Atitlan Guatemala is more than three miles long and up to a mile wide, with depths reaching over 1,000 feet and incredibly clear. Its shores are dotted with small villages, and its waters are home to many different kinds of fish. Lake Atitlan Guatemala is also a popular spot for kayaking, fishing, hiking, swimming, and thanks to Marshall, stand up paddleboarding, through his company Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Atitlan.

Lake Atitlan Guatemala is one of the most beautiful places on Earth. But it's not just the scenery that makes the beautiful Lake Atitlan Guatemala special. Lake Atitlan Guatemala is also home to a wide variety of wildlife, including rare species of fish, birds, and reptiles. In addition, the lake is an important cultural center for the Maya people. For centuries, the Maya have been drawn to Lake Atitlan for its spiritual power. Even today, many Maya pilgrims make the journey to the lake to offer prayers and sacrifices to the Gods. With its natural beauty and rich history, it's no wonder that the beautiful Lake Atitlan Guatemala is considered one of the seven wonders of Guatemala.

In France, there is a beautiful city near the Spanish border named Pau, where the amazing woman whom I interviewed decided to spell out entrepreneur in a way that would help women find friendship, laughter, empowerment, and inspiration. Canadian expat mom Lisa has enjoyed connecting with different people throughout the four continents she has lived and knew that there was a space she could create for entrepreneurial-minded women to connect, so she started her own business, Wine Women and Wellbeing.

Listen to my interview with episode 44 guest, Lisa, on living in various countries with her husband and children, creating a business abroad, how she and her family have made a home abroad, and what home means to her.

Canadian expat mom

Lisa, a Canadian expat mom, has found it to be such a lovely experience relocating with her husband, and kids from Canada to Indonesia, Democratic Republic of Congo, and currently France, and detailed her experiences living abroad on her blog Canadian expat mom.

Being a Canadian expat mom has its challenges, but it can also be an incredibly rewarding experience. On the one hand, you have to deal with the feeling of being homesick, missing the place you are originally from, being away from extended family and friends. No matter how great your life is in your new country, there will always be a part of you that longs for the familiar comforts of Canada.

But on the other hand, living abroad gives you a unique opportunity to raise your children in a different culture. They'll learn about new customs and traditions, and they'll have a chance to develop skills that they wouldn't have otherwise had. Plus, you'll get to create precious memories with your kids that will last a lifetime. Ultimately, being a Canadian expat mom is both challenging and rewarding.

Wine Women and Wellbeing

Lisa certainly knows how to spell entrepreneur, and that's with her business Wine Women and Wellbeing.

Wine, women, and wellbeing – it’s a winning combination! Wine has been shown to have countless health benefits, including reducing the risk of heart disease and stroke, boosting cognitive function, and even prolonging life. And what could be better for your wellbeing than spending time with good friends? Women have always been powerful social connectors, forming bonds that last a lifetime. So when you combine the health benefits of wine with the social benefits of spending time with women friends, you’re on the path to optimum wellbeing. So pop open a bottle of your favorite red or white, gather your girlfriends, and toast to your good health!

Lisa describes herself as an extrovert and she enjoys making friends wherever she goes, so it came easily and naturally for how to end up building a business abroad, one involved in making friends. Lisa has put in sweat equity, building her business over 3 years, and has seen the tremendous difference that it's made in the lives of the members. Woman can network and are part of a community

As indicated on the Wine Women and Wellbeing website:

Most recently, Lisa brought together thousands of women across three provinces for the Manifest Tour featuring Kaitlyn Bristowe, Dr. Jody Carrington, Jess Tetu, and The Sister Brand. WWWB’s inaugural WILD Conference held in Calgary featured keynote speaker Elizabeth Gilbert, and was curated toward bringing together entrepreneurial-minded women.

Lisa is excited to unveil her mentorship program, Level Up Your Life, to an incredible group of women fall 2022!

Wine Women and Wellbeing is doing profound things and that's a main reason why interviewing this amazing woman was such a pleasure.

Amazing woman

Women are powerful, and they are changing the world. We need more women in leadership positions, because women have the power to change the world for the better. We need more women in government, in corporations, in boardrooms, in classrooms. Women have so much to offer, and we need more of their voices to be heard. We need more women to be empowered, because when women are empowered, society is better off as...

When Steven, a podcasting executive, chose Mexico vs Estados Unidos (United States) because of the covid endemic, he never imagined he would find a love so pure in Mexico. The small town at the southern tip of Baja, California, called San Jose del Cabo, is nothing short of paradise, and he has found a new home there.

It's where the sea of Cortez meets the Pacific. The restaurants are fabulous, the scuba diving is some of the best in the world, he met the love of his life, and the atmosphere is just perfect for him. He never thought he would find a place like this, but now he can't imagine living anywhere else. Listen my interview with Steven, episode 34 guest of the Are we home yet podcast.

Things to do in San Jose del Cabo

San Jose del Cabo is a popular tourist destination for many reasons. Situated on the tip of the Baja California Peninsula, it offers stunning ocean views, beautiful beaches, and a wide variety of things to do. Visitors can spend their days exploring the quaint shops and art galleries of the historic downtown area, or sunbathing on one of the many sandy beaches. There are also several popular golf courses in the area, as well as several nearby natural attractions such as the Cabo Pulmo National Park.

Visitors can enjoy numerous activities and attractions, including exploring the downtown area, swimming and sunbathing on one of the many beaches, golfing, fishing, snorkeling, and scuba diving, which Steven loves to do. There are also several great restaurants and bars to enjoy, as well as shops selling arts and crafts made by local artisans. Mexico vs Estados Unidos (United States)

Mexico vs Estados Unidos: The United States and Mexico are two neighboring countries with a long history between them. Both countries are located in North America and share a border of nearly 2,000 miles. The United States is by far the larger of the two countries, with a population of more than 327 million people. Mexico, on the other hand, has a population of just over 126 million.

Mexico vs Estados Unidos: The two countries also have different climates, with the United States having a more temperate climate and Mexico having a warmer climate. Despite these differences, the two countries have many similarities. Both countries have rich cultures and histories, and both have been influenced by the Spanish language and culture. In recent years, the two countries have also become increasingly connected economically, with trade between the two countries totaling nearly $600 billion in 2016.

Mexico vs Estados Unidos: While there are many differences between the United States and Mexico, the two countries remain close neighbors and important partners.

Mexico vs Estados Unidos: Mexico does have some advantages over its northern neighbor. For instance, it has a much richer cultural heritage, with a long history and a more diverse range of influences. It also has a warmer climate, which attracts tourists from all over the world. In recent years, the two countries have been working hard to improve relations, but there are still many areas of disagreement.

Mexico vs Estados Unidos: Despite challenges, there are also many reasons for optimism about the future of U.S.-Mexico relations. The two countries have a long history of cooperation on issues like trade, immigration, and drug trafficking. In recent years, there have also been increasing levels of bilateral trade and investment. Mexicans are now some of the largest investors in the United States and vice versa. Mexico and the United States have a long history of both cooperation and conflict. The two countries share a 2,000-mile border, and their economies are deeply intertwined.

Mexico vs Estados Unidos: The two countries share a border, but they also have significantly different cultures, values, and histories. However, it is important to remember that the two countries are not competitors - they are both part of the same commu...

It takes a long time and a lot of research to really feel at home in another country. That uncertainty is exactly why the Expat Consulting Podcast was created!

To bridge the gap between “this is a new place”, to get to a point where you can really feel like you’re home, even though you’re an expat and even if it’s a country that’s the total opposite of where you’re originally from!

For you to know a new place and to stop asking, Are we home yet?, you'll have to know all the ins and outs of the land.

It requires making friends with local people, trying local foods, visiting popular places and/or places of significance to the local population, learning about the new place where you live.

While Googling places does get you through the basics of it all, it's not until you're actually there that you get to experience things firsthand and figure out exactly how to make your way through the place.

I went through the same exact thing when I moved to China. Although I was super excited, there was instantly this sense of being totally out of place because I had no idea how I was going to set up my “home” in a land that just felt so alien to me.

Let’s just say I was quite literally the “fish out of water” until I found people like me, who had also moved to China a couple of years before me and were able to give me the guidance I needed to get my footing in the new land and make it my own. They allowed me to learn from their mistakes, skip over some of the process of figuring it out, and held my hand as much as possible throughout the whole moving process. That’s exactly what I want to do for other people too!

With the Are We Home Yet podcast, that’s exactly what I’m doing!

My moving abroad podcast features guests from all over the world, people that packed up their bags and moved abroad and had to do the work to make the place their home. Places that you might be interested in moving to too!

With their interviews, I ask my guests are you home yet, and you can learn all about the different countries in the world they live, in detail. We’re talking real details about what you would need to live in a new place. This includes things like what to expect when you’ve just landed in the new lands, how to make sure you’re getting the right accommodation, where you can get the best food from, schools and universities, things to do, things not to do, real expat living, everything you can possibly need to know!

By the time you’re done listening, you’ll have all of the information you might need to skip over the fish out of water phase and directly into the one where you never have to ask yourself, “Are we home yet?” because you’ll know everything you need to know to make the new place your true home!

Before you decide to move, listen to , subscribe , download, share, rate, and review the Are we home yet podcast . Check out the Are we home yet website to subscribe to the newsletter for updates and early access to information about new episodes and to purchase the handy ebook guidebook.

The Berlin flag is a welcome banner to those want to build something

, interview with American website developer Laurel in Germany

The Berlin flag is a welcome banner for those who want to put their skills and creativity to work. If you're looking for a place that is open-minded and welcomes those who want to build something, then Berlin is the city for you. In this interview, American website developer Laurel tells me why she decided to move to Berlin in September 2017. With an influx of tech companies coming to Berlin, it's quickly becoming a liberal powerhouse in Europe. Laurel also notes that art is thriving in Berlin, making it a liberal place where anyone can feel at home. Listen to my guest Laurel in episode 38 of the Are we home yet? podcast.

Berlin Flag

Berlin is a beautiful city, with a rich history and diverse culture. It's also home to the Berlin Flag, one of the most iconic symbols of the city. Berlin has been a center of culture and politics for centuries, and the flag represents that history. The Berlin flag is named after the city of Berlin, which is located in the German state of Berlin. Berlin Flag is one of the most popular flags in the world, and it is flown by many organizations and countries.

The Berlin Flag is an important symbol of the German people. The Berlin Flag is a red-white-red horizontal tricolor that was first flown in 1848 and later became the flag of West Berlin.

The Berlin flag It is based on the colors of the German flag but with a horizontal instead of a vertical layout. The flag is now rarely seen as the city has been reunified, but it remains an important symbol of Berlin's history. The Berlin Flag first appeared during the Revolutions of 1848, when it was flown by progressive activists who were fighting for a unified Germany.

These revolutionaries were inspired by the French Revolution and used the red-white-red tricolor as their symbol of liberty and equality. The flag remained a symbol of German unity until the country was divided after World War II. At that time, it became the flag of West Berlin, serving as a visual reminder that the city remained part of Germany despite being surrounded by communist East Germany.

After the fall of the Berlin Wall, the flag continued to be flown as a sign of solidarity with the city's residents. Today, it can occasionally be seen flying alongside the German flag in Berlin. While it is no longer an official flag, the Berlin Flag remains an important part of the city's history and identity.

The flag was adopted as the official flag of Berlin in 1948, following the city's merger with East Berlin. The colors of the flag are drawn from the coat of arms of Berlin, which features a bear standing on a green background. The bear is Berlin's mascot, and it is also a symbol of strength and courage. The bear is shown standing on its hind legs, which shows that Berlin is a city that is always moving forward. The thirteen stars on the flag represent the thirteen districts of Berlin.

The Berlin Flag is a reminder of the city's complex past, and its flag remains a symbol of Berlin's resilience and strength. The Berlin Flag is a powerful symbol of resilience and hope. Berliners also see the flag as a symbol of their city's history and diversity. The Berlin flag is a symbol of unity and diversity, and it welcomes all who come to the inclusive city.

Laurel has felt welcome in Berlin since she relocated there in September 2017 and quickly felt at home in Berlin.

Berlin has always been a city of diversity and tolerance. Throughout its history, Berlin has welcomed people from all walks of life, irrespective of their race, religion or sexual orientation. Today, the city is home to a vibrant LGBT community, as well as a large number of Goths and other alternative lifestyles. No matter who you are or what you believe in, you will find a place in Berlin. The city's open-minded and cosmopolitan atmosphere makes it a truly unique place to live. Whether you're looking for nightlife, culture or simply a place to call home, Berlin is the perfect place for you.

Initially, Laurel arrived in her new city, her new home, working in marketing, but eventually transitioned to website development, and Berlin is an excellent place to be if you're in the tech field and want to build something online.

Jensen has exhibited her cool art in China and in other parts of the world. When Jensen moved to China from the Philippines, she brought her map of the Philippines with her. This map, located in her heart, has fueled her journey to success as an artist in China.

Listen to my interview with Jensen, Episode 31 guest of the Are you home yet? podcast, and find out about life in Beijing, her artwork, and design company.

Award-winning artist, Founder of Jensen Moreno Fine Arts, Designer, Art Teacher, Director of Arts at Joy El International Academy. Jensen is a Filipina artist based in Beijing. Her most recent painting exhibitions were very successful in China. “Hall of Fame,” her 5th solo painting exhibition was sponsored by the A.C. Art Museum. It was followed by “World-class” hosted by the Philippine Embassy for the ASEAN Ladies Circle gathering where Lady Ambassadors and Mesdames were the major guests.

Cool art is one of those things that you know when you see it. It's an art that's unique and eye-catching, and that often has a strong emotional impact. Cool art can be found in all kinds of places, from museums and galleries to street art and graffiti. And it's not always easy to define - what one person thinks is cool art might not be cool to someone else.

But that's part of the beauty of cool art - it's often subjective, and open to interpretation. Whether you're looking at a beautiful painting or a shocking piece of street art, cool art has the power to stop you in your tracks and make you think. And that's what makes it so cool.

The Art of Zoo

Jensen has a cool art form that looks like at the art of Zoo. The results are stunningly beautiful works of art that are truly one-of-a-kind. The intricate designs show the animals in their natural habitats. The next time you're looking for some cool art check out the Art of zoo, among the other art forms that Jensen makes.

The art of zoo is not only about the design of the landscaping, but also the way the animals are displayed. Jensen also has a design company, and thus the placement of the animals, giving them enough space to move around on the canvas, or to hide, is important to her. The resulting art of zoo looks like a mini-safari; cool art where you can see lions and elephants, up close and in their natural surroundings. The art of the zoo is about the viewer, art lover, and animal lover, an experience that is both educational and visually enriching.

If you're looking for a new painting, cool art for walls, check out something that Jensen has. Jensen, who is not a starving artist, displays her art on social media, along with her website. Explore the world of her cool art and you might find a new favorite artist.

Great Success

For anyone looking to achieve great success, the road is never easy. There will always be obstacles and challenges to overcome. But that's what makes the journey so rewarding. It's not about taking the easy way out; it's about persevere through the tough times and come out stronger on the other side. It's about learning from your mistakes and using those lessons to propel you forward. If you're willing to put in the hard work and stay focused on your goals, there's no limit to what you can achieve. So keep your head up and keep moving forward, because success is just around the corner.

Jensen is finding great success with her art because she has kept at it and has diversified. Jensen brings her artistic side to her design company and is also an art teacher.

Great success in the art world is not easy to come by. There are many talented artists out there, all vying for attention from buyers, galleries, and collectors. To stand out from the crowd, an artist needs to have a strong vision and be able to execute it flawlessly. They also need to be marketing savvy and understand the business side of the art world. But even with all of these things, there is no guarantee of success. In the end, great success in the art world comes down to luck, timing, and talent.

If you're looking for cool art work, Beijing, where Jensen is located, is the place to be. The city is full of creative and talented people, and there are plenty of art galleries and studios to explore. You can find everything from traditional Chinese painting to contemporary abstract art, and there's always something new to discover. In addition to the galleries, Beijing also has a number of public art installations that are worth checking out. So whether you're an art lover or just a curious traveler, make sure to add Beijing to your list of must-see destinations.

If you're curious what time it is in the UAE, it's classtime! Emily is a teacher from America who is fortunate enough to have worked in Kuwait in the Fall of 2019 where her international teaching career began, and now Abu Dhabi, starting from August 2021. Teaching abroad has been an amazing experience for Emily, she's learned a lot about different cultures and time zones. If you're interested in teaching abroad, or just want to learn more about Kuwait and the UAE, keep reading!

My interview for episode 22 on the Are we home yet? podcast is with a young American woman named Emily. There’s a vey popular show titled Emily in Paris, which has been a hit show on Netflix since it was released in October 2020. The show follows Emily, a marketing executive from Chicago, who is sent to work in Paris for her company.

While Emily is initially reluctant to leave her home and comfort zone, she soon falls in love with the city and its culture. One of the key themes of the show is Emily’s journey of self-discovery, as she comes to terms with who she is and what she wants out of life. For many viewers, Emily in Paris is a relatable and aspirational story of finding oneself in a new place.

And that’s what I thought about when I interviewed Emily, who is not in Paris, but teaching abroad in the Middle East, and finding it to be a rewarding experience, opening her eyes to new cultures and perspectives. Teaching abroad can also be a challenge, as you must adapt to different teaching methods and cultural norms. Nonetheless, teaching abroad is an incredibly valuable experience that Emily would recommend to anyone interested in exploring the world. Not only will you learn more about other cultures, but you will also gain a greater understanding of your own culture and identity. So if you’re thinking about teaching abroad, don’t hesitate to take the plunge – you won’t regret it!

While some people believe that there is no place like home, others find that living in a foreign country can be a freeing experience. In the United Arab Emirates, for example, expats from all over the world are drawn to the opportunity to live in a booming economy and experience a culture that is vastly different from their own. Emily has been able to meet and make great friends from South Africa, Ireland, and Romania, among other places.

When Shlomo, an online marketing manager for a company that helps students, moved to Beijing, he was looking for a sense of community and familiarity. He found that in the Jewish community, which helped him give his Beijing House a feeling of home. The close-knit community offered him a support system, something that he was missing after leaving his family and friends behind in Israel.

An internship program and learn Chinese program brought Shlomo from Israel to Beijing, Shlomo eventually became more involved in the entrepreneurship community in Beijing, led a meetup group with monthly events and weekly events of entrepreneurship, and built a company that helped foreign apps distribute into the Chinese market. Listen to Episode 32 of the Are we home yet? podcast, to hear how Shlomo created a business in Beijing China, became a financial coach, and how Israel means home to him.

As an expat, Shlomo mentioned that figuring out how to get utilities turned on for a Beijing residence can be a struggle of being an expat. In Beijing, the apartment complexes are typically served by a central utility system that provides electricity, water, and other services to the residents. The utility system is usually managed by the property management company that oversees the complex. As a result, residents generally don't have to worry about paying for utilities individually.

There's more than just utilities that goes into giving a place a feeling of home. For most people, home is a place of comfort and security. It's a refuge from the outside world, a place where we can relax and be ourselves. But for some, home is a more complicated concept. For them, home isn't necessarily a physical place. Instead, it's a state of mind, an emotional space that we carry with us wherever we go.

Take, for example, someone who grows up in multiple countries. They might not have one specific place that they call home. Instead, a feeling of home for some is wherever their family is. Or consider someone who has to move constantly for their job. For them, a feeling of home might be wherever they happen to be living at the moment. In both cases, a feeling of home is less about a physical location and more about a feeling of safety and belonging.

So what does it mean to have a feeling of home? For Shlomo, it's about feeling like he belongs, like he's part of a community, and that home is in Israel, no matter where he goes with his family to live, several months out of the year.

Website flipping

Website flipping is a great way to make money as a financial coach, which is something that Shlomo also does. There are a few different ways to do this, but the basic idea is to buy low-traffic website for a low price, improve it in some way, and then sell it for a higher price. This can be done by increasing the traffic to the website, improving the content, or adding new features.

The best part of website flipping is that it can be done entirely online! So if you're looking for a way to make money as a financial coach, website flipping is definitely worth considering.
