Antonia (Elisa Gandolfi) osserva con apprensione e angoscia l'evoluzione (o meglio involuzione) di Emmanuel, che sembra essersi incamminato per una via pericolosa. Dalla voce della domestica Teresa apprende che il ragazzo sta con una nuova ragazza, che gli sta facendo un effetto strano e preoccupante.

Antonia (Elisa Gandolfi) observes with concern and anguish the evolution (or rather involution) of Emmanuel, who seems to have set out on a dangerous path. From the voice of the maid Teresa she learns that the boy is with a new girl, who is having a very strange effect on him.

Emmanuel and Antonia's last meeting at the river, before the story takes an unexpected and somewhat dramatic turn; the story of Emmanuel's dog, Tegame (Saucepan), serves as a sinister premonition.
In this circumstance Antonia is forced to realize that the boy's fortitude is far superior to hers: Emmanuel is able to keep the promise made to her earlier (see episode 1.7. "It takes two to tango").
The narrative voice is that of Antonia (AI Bella).
