I wasn't happy with what I was seeing on social media, i didn't think people felt comfortable enough to ask real questions. You only need to look at all our feeds to see, so I decided to do something about it and the response has been unreal!!!!

I was newly diagnosed at 14 and have spent most of my teenage life with IBD, now I live my life with an stoma. My goal is to complete an Ironman with my bag and mum!

I was always active before IBD I was so close to my 2021 olympic dream, I played football and 7s Rugby for the UAE but my passion was always surfing, the water makes me feel free. Free from disease, free from worry... I wasn't going to let IBD or my Ostomy stop me going to the 2021 Olympics
