Born in Baltimore, MD to a Chinese immigrant family, he pursued studies in Eastern philosophy and spirituality and received diverse training as a holistic therapist in various forms of bodywork, acupuncture, as well as EEG neurofeedback. Jason is also an oracular polyglot fluent in the languages of tarot, geomancy, I-Ching, and Hellenistic astrology. He lives with his two cats, Leeloo and Trinity, in St. Louis, MO at the confluence of the Mississippi, Illinois, and Missouri rivers.

Michael J. Morris is a consulting astrologer and tarot reader, artist, writer, teacher, facilitator, and witch committed to personal and collective healing and liberation. They began their consulting practice Co Witchcraft Offerings in 2019. Michael holds a PhD in Dance Studies and brings decades of experience in dance, yoga, reiki, and other somatic practices to their work. They are a queer feminist, and their practices are inspired and informed by years of study and teaching in feminism, queer studies, gender and sexuality studies, environmental studies, and other branches of critical theory. Michael was a speaker at the Queer Astrology Conference 2020, the 2020 Fresh Voices in Astrology Summit, the Astrology and Climate Change Conference 2021, and they will be presenting at NORWAC 2022. They are currently a contributing writer to the CHANI App and a teaching assistant with Kelly Surtees. Mo is US-born, Toronto-based traditional astrologer who specializes in Solar Returns and other Hellenistic or Medieval timing techniques. She is also versed in the combination of Tarot with Astrological Correspondences via the Golden Dawn traditions. In particular, she focuses on utilizing the lesser dignities such as triplicity, bounds, and decans to provide extra nuances when it comes to delineating charts.

Zacchary Powell is a Black Queer Astrologer currently based in Philadelphia who graduated in 2013 with a degree in political science and sociology, focused on the intersection of race, politics, inequality, and constitutional law. Along with his client work, he is the Communications Manager for Fresh Voices in Astrology; the Board Secretary for Association for Young Astrologers; a student of Kelly Surtees, Austin Coppock, and Chris Brennan; and a practicing astro-mage (to be clear, we STAN Venus). Prior to making the glorious leap to become a professional astrologer, he worked in the fashion industry for a number of years; served as a policy analyst for a civil rights non-profit working to make structural changes to increase access to clean, safe, and affordable housing; and managed the Manhattan office of a top marketing consulting firm.

djenneba drammeh is a writer, book editor, astrologer, and bookseller emeritus. Before receiving a scholarship to learn Hellenistic and electional astrology under Chris Brennan, they spent time working in and around the NYC arts and culture space, cutting their teeth as an assistant producer for Afropunk and as a bookseller at Strand Book Store. Wild for vivid stories and expanding language to translate them, djenneba is the lead editor of Mercury’s Brood, the forthcoming astro-literary anthology book funded on Kickstarter. Concerned with the ways that popular understandings of astrology can fail or overlook marginalized experiences, they apply an intersectional black queer feminist lens to both client work and mundane astrology. djenneba is also contributing writer to the love horoscope app CUSP, Buzzfeed’s monthly horoscopes, and is creator of the horoscope newsletter Twelve Questions.

Kelsey is an anticapitalist astrologer and teacher. Erin provides astrological guidance to socially-conscious individuals through 1:1 counseling, written content, and live workshops. Over the last decade she has worked as an advocate, educator and capacity-builder within multiple intersectional feminist organizations, learning first-hand the challenges that pervade social justice environments. Erin writes about the intersection of wellness and justice because she understands how vital the relationship between them is for liberation - and how often that relationship turns toxic. Most of her clients are bad-ass activists navigating burnout or compassionate healers who are seeking to be more mindful of their capacity to do harm. Erin believes that people doing de-colonial work should have solid support and that wellness leaders should conduct their practices with conscious integrity. She understands that being well and being free are inherently linked - and we need both to belong and affect change for a better world.

Erin lives and works on unceded and occupied Native Popeloutchom (Amah Mutsun), Awaswas and Ohlone Land (also known as Santa Cruz, California). Her work is deeply influenced by my peers and colleagues as well as living healers, educators and activists such as Rachael Rice, Toi Smith, Carmen Spagnola, Bayo Akomolafe, adrienne maree brown, Eryn Wise, Jen Lemen, Joanna Macy, Donna Haraway and Layli Maparyan.

She is currently working on an astrological research project to help clients and astrologers alike better navigate the impact of environmental and systemic collapse. In this research she is paying special attention to cadent houses and spaces in the chart on the declining side of the angles. My orientation is firmly rooted in Traditional and Hellenistic Astrology with the goal of ultimately developing a technique designed to support people in moments of enormous urgency. She will likely open a second round of research consults in the summer of this year.
