Contagion Effect

What a great story teller, "THE" Dadbod Veteran joined us this week. We had the opportunity to learn more about the man that tells stories on TikTok, YouTube and other Social Media platforms. He shared his early life, and the decision to join the Navy right out of High School. We learned about his career in the Navy, including how he was on the water when 9/11 happened and how they protected New York after the attacks. Learned about his move to civilian life, and what that transition looked like.
We moved on to learning how "THE" Dadbod Veteran came to life, and the story behind the stories. We shared some of our favorite videos of his, to show the work and effort to make quality content.
As a show, we never like sharing too much here, because we want our guests stories to speak for themselves. This is a show you don't want to miss.

Bryan Roof, a Marine Corp Veteran joined us this week and we had the pleasure to hear about his journey in the Marines. He joined shortly before the 9/11 attacks and shared how things changed drastically after. We learned about his time in Basic Training to his time in Iraq. Bryan told us about his PTSD and injuries from the service didn't show themselves till a little later in life. He became 100% disabled in VA terms and unable to work. Bryan wanted to tell his stories and hold on to them so that his kids could hear them. Hence where Every Day's a Saturday came from. This is his YouTube Show where he talks to other veterans about what they have gone through.

Wow, the stories...
We had the pleasure of having Thomas (Tom) Lee join us. Tom is an Air Force Veteran who lives in our local area Modesto/Turlock, Ca. Tom was an MP and dog handler in the Air Force. He shared some stories when he was deployed out of country, and some while in country. We don't want to give his stories away, he tells them the best. We will say, learning how things work with the military dogs was pretty cool! After leaving the military and bouncing around a bit, Tom started Dog Training as a side hustle. Well, he did such a great job it has turned in to a booming business ran by he and his wife Gigi. A+. Dog Training came to life. They are often so busy, they have a waiting list. Tom also spoke to giving back to the Military Working Dog Team Support Association. This group rises funds to send supplies to both military dogs and their handlers. Tom gives back a portion of all his training fees.

If you want to hear about a Marine who went through some life changing experiences, you need to listen to Steven Stewart's story.
