Close Encounters With My Inner Child

In this episode I connect current events to unresolved childhood issues that stem from being raised in an alcoholic, workaholic, food addicted home where adults resorted to violence at times. I articulate self awareness and reveal core beliefs to allow the listener to actually witness my healing process to help them with their own.

In these podcasts I articulate stories about childhood and adult experiences. I connect the dots between the child’s life experiences and core beliefs and feelings that create them in my adult life. I share holistic healing resources and practices that helped generate self-awareness and facilitate integration of my wounded inner child and my adult self. I articulate my destructive inner thoughts, core beliefs attitudes, and behaviors to help listeners identify what might be going on within them or loved ones. I offer hope to listeners by sharing ways I walk to and through my own darkness to experience the light of my precious Inner Child.

I share what happened after I read an article on receiving sexual attention & pleasure, how it impacted my adult and inner child & the good that came from it in my marriage of 36 years.

I share about a movie called My Octopus Teacher on Netflix ands it’s effects on my adult & Inner Child. I share interactions with my adults husband & the impact the movie had on us before & after watching it together.

I share my adult and inner child’s interactions while trying to sew. I also identify a dysfunctional parenting style my adult adopted to raise her disabled son when he was a child & how she stopped using it with her inner child.
