Given that camels are a herd animal the question lingers: Is it okay just to have one camel or should they be with their own kind? We understand that in different parts of the world different privileges play out on the accessibility (and the buying) of camels. In Australia we are very privileged as camels are relativity assessable and not a huge investment - compared to the United States for instance. We answer this question: Can I Have Just One Camel, from the camels perspective and we also share our experiences with a variety of situations form the camel being on its own to with other animals; the camel having a human companion; the camel being in a herd environment or just with another camel.
