We’re in the middle of our “Makings of a Man” series, and in this episode, Jay sits down with a true treasure of a man who has demonstrated tremendous honor: NFL Superbowl Champion, Steve Weatherford.
Steven Thomas Weatherford is a former American football punter. He played college football at Illinois and was signed by the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent in 2006. Weatherford was also a member of the New Orleans Saints, Kansas City Chiefs, Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Jets, and New York Giants. Honor is one of Steve’s top core values, and one of the best at raising men, and raising champions.
Who are you choosing to serve with your time, talents, and treasures? For Steve, honor means to make life about God and other people. Steve shares how his identity was transformed by Christ, shifting towards a Kingdom mindset through core values of honor, integrity, and accountability. There is a difference between trying to get into heaven, and living accountable to what God has given us to steward well during our time on earth.
If you apply honor to anything, it’s going to work the way God designed it to work.

Repentance makes you clean, but confession brings freedom.
In this episode, Jay sits down with Dave Harvey, where Dave shares the recent upgrades experienced through the gateway of honesty that comes with grief and pain, without blanketing over wounds and offense.
When we are honest with our wounds, and allow God to meet us in those areas, we can show up clean and strong as sons, brothers, husbands, fathers, and leaders. God desires for us to deal with our pain, and work through forgiveness–not in theory, but in true freedom.
Dave & his wife, Taff are the Directors of the Bethel Leaders Network (BLN) which exists to connect, encourage, and empower leaders across the world. Prior to this role, Dave was a pastor and manager at Bethel’s School of Supernatural Ministry (BSSM). Dave is a gifted motivational speaker who has a powerful prophetic voice and international influence. His passion is the empowerment of individuals, leaders, and communities, in all spheres of society, helping them to live naturally supernatural lives. Dave worked in Australia as a secondary teacher, consultant to schools and community organizations, and has pioneered many effective programs and motivational seminars which continue to empower young people and families. He has also authored and ghost-written several books which have impacted the global community. Dave is also the founder of ‘INCREASE’, releasing testimonies of God’s goodness through print and the ‘Increase’ Testimony App. His passion to steward the testimony is contagious.

The public school system is broken. Too many kids feel left behind, uninspired, and stuck in a one-size-fits-all education model that doesn’t prepare them for the real world. As a dad, educator, and leader, I believe we need a radical shift in how we teach the next generation. That’s why I sat down with Tyler, an education innovator, to explore a new model of learning—one that builds independence, critical thinking, and real-world skills.
In this episode, we dive into the history of the education system, why it’s failing so many students, and what parents can do to take control. Tyler shares insights from years of redesigning schools, working with top institutions, and creating self-directed learning environments that equip kids for success. Whether you’re a parent questioning your child’s education or someone looking for a better way, this conversation will challenge and inspire you.

If you’re ready to rethink how kids learn, share this episode. Let’s start a movement toward real education that prepares our kids for life—not just tests. Drop a comment below: What’s been your experience with the school system? Are you considering an alternative path? Let’s talk about it.

Hey, BraveCo Men! Listen in as Jason interviews Tracey Armstrong in this uplifting and empowering conversation on self-reliance in this week’s episode of our “Makings of a Man” series.

In our introduction, we tell the story of self-reliance powerfully demonstrated by renown polar explorer, Ernest Shackleton and his Endurance crew of the Imperial Trans-Antarctic Expedition. During the Endurance Expedition of 1914-1917, their ship became trapped in a pack of ice as they were crossing the Atlantic. Twenty-two members of the crew remained on Elephant Island as the men endured entrapment and frigid weather. Miraculously and courageously, Ernest was determined to not lose even one of his team members in the process.

After traveling from Elephant Island with two others, to South Georgia Island to organize a rescue mission, Shackleton returned to his crew after over a year stranded in the Antarctic, successfully rescuing all. His leadership ability to keep his crew focused in the midst of adversity has made the Endurance Mission a testament to the human spirit in the midst of adversity.

We all have a problem-solver inside us. The people who lead us are those who pushed past temporary deficiencies. Great leaders are self-reliant not because they want to be, but because they are in a position to do what no one else is willing to do.

This is the kind of self-reliance we need in this season and this generation.

Tracey is a social and economic entrepreneur and a success coach to achievers and wealth builders. Tracey believes God’s people must have spiritual, social and economic influence. He has a powerful voice in the men's movement, prophetic gifting, and in life.

Tracey and his wife, Nathalie, are on the front line of the new generation of “supernaturalists” being raised up in the world today, as pastors of Citadel Church, located in Seattle Washington. Together with their team, they are committed to reach this generation that is asleep spiritually and absent in most churches. Tracey and Nathalie are equipping the emerging generation for spiritual, social and economic influence.

Hey BraveCo men! In this episode, Jay interviews one of his closest friends, Jeff Sawyer, a devoted father of seven daughters, a loyal friend, and a relentless worker. Jeff’s journey is one of remarkable transformation, and we dive deep into his story, uncovering the raw and real experiences that shaped him.

From the chaos of gang fights to the challenges of unexpected pregnancies, Jeff's life has been a whirlwind. He was there in the early days of Bethel Church, witnessing the Holy Spirit move in radical ways. His story begins with a tumultuous childhood, growing up as a Jehovah’s Witness, and a troubled relationship with his mom and stepdad. This led him to the streets, where he quickly became involved in gang life, facing intense struggles and pain.

At sixteen, Jeff’s life took a sharp turn when his girlfriend (now wife), Sue, became pregnant. He threw himself into work to provide, but their move to Redding brought a whole new set of challenges. With confusion, fear, and a marriage on the brink of collapse, Jeff eventually fled to LA, adopting a very different lifestyle and even dating other women.

While Jeff was gone, Sue began attending Kris Vallotton’s home group, where she received a promise of redemption—that Jeff would return. Just as Jeff felt the pull from the Holy Spirit to go back home, he discovered his girlfriend in LA was also pregnant. Tune in to hear how Jeff’s story unfolds and the powerful ways God intervened in his life.

Have I created space for hope in my home? Is my home a place where my wife and kids can truly believe in a better future? That question hit me hard, and in this episode of the Brave Co Podcast, we dive into why hope, perseverance, and connection are the foundation of thriving marriages. We’ve seen more breakthrough in relationships this year than ever before, and today, we’re unpacking why—and how you can experience it too.
Lately, I’ve watched countless men step up—not just in words, but in real action. I’ve had guys come to me, fully owning where they’ve fallen short, saying, “I don’t want to be here anymore, and I’ll do whatever it takes to change.” And that’s the difference. So many couples are running on empty, trying to fix their problems with arguments and facts, instead of building their emotional bank account first. The truth is, love isn’t about keeping score—it’s about showing up, day in and day out, even when it’s hard.
We also get into politics, faith, and this new era we’re stepping into—where things are shifting in ways we never expected. Whether it’s in marriage, leadership, or culture, one thing is clear: this is a time for men to rise up, take ownership, and build something strong. If your marriage feels like it’s on the rocks, if you’re wondering how to move forward—this episode is for you.
