Welcome to another Q&R (question and reflection) mini-episode, this week I'm talking about learning to value yourself.

When it comes to growing your business, charging more, going after bigger opportunities and just putting yourself out there, there is one thing that you have to learn to do and that is Valuing yourself.

I have a belief that if you don't value yourself then others around you won't value you either.

This can impact how much money you make, what you say yes and no to and also what you think you're worthy of.

This week on the podcast I'm talking about seven ways to build a powerful personal brand in 2023.

I think that the more you can build trust with your audience, the faster you will secure paying clients. I am always and will always be a brand-first type of person. When you look after your brand first, which is your brand is the collective experience that somebody has when they come in contact with you. Your brand becomes magnetic, where people are talking about you, they're coming to you, they hear about you, and they consume your content everywhere. And you're putting out content that really helps your audience, then you don't have to market and sell as much. So building your personal brand so that people get to know you is so important. So in this episode, I'm giving you seven ways to build a personal brand-new 2023.

Welcome to another Q&R (question and reflection) mini-episode, this week I'm talking about content consumption hiatus.

In this chat, I invite you to think about whether your business is where you want it to be. And if it's not, then stop doing the same things and expect a different result. You've got to shift and change that. Stop consuming. Start creating, and start really challenging yourself to bring your best work to life.

In this week's episode, I chat with Lauren Tilden about creating an intentional marketing plan.

Lauren is a maker, retail shop owner, podcast host, and marketing coach on a mission to help small business owners do better marketing... more consistently. She believes that one of the best ways to make a positive impact on the world is through great marketing.

An ex-corporate marketer, Lauren fell in love with small business through her first small business, the plant-inspired stationery business Good Sheila. A couple of years after starting Good Sheila, she took the reins of the retail shop her mom owned, Station 7. And as of 2020, she hosts Making Good, a podcast for small businesses who want to make a big impact.

In this week's episode, I chat with Mel Daniels about the four content creator archetypes and how you can start using them within your biz.

Mel Daniels is a Content Strategist, Coach and Speaker who loves to understand ‘why’. Even past her toddler years, she always asked why. She wanted to understand why things worked like they did, why people acted a certain way and why she was the only one who loved peanut butter and sultana sandwiches.

Her curiosity has lead her on an interesting life journey from academic achiever to corporate leader, mum extraordinaire and now business owner.

Mel’s purpose is to teach and empower women who want more from their business, on how to use content in a powerful way. She gives them the confidence they need to become more visible, seen as the expert that they are and inspired to take their business to the next level.

Welcome to another Q&R (question and reflection) mini-episode, this week I'm talking about keeping your brand human and when automations fail.

I really want you to think about how you're showing up in your brand, how you're responding, and how you're given the love. Make sure that you have systems and processes in your business, that feel human to you, and that you're happy with that really reflect the brand experience that you want to give your audience as well.

This week on the podcast I'm talking about getting out of content creation coma and wishful comparison.

Today, I wanted to share something that I am challenging myself to do and that I think is important for you to challenge yourself to do as well. It's getting out of a content coma.

Now I have been speaking with so many people recently, clients, and my community colleagues as well, and the thing that I am constantly hearing is, I am consuming other people's content all the time. I'm feeling stuck in my own content. I've been thinking about this and I have created a number of phrases that I think really helped to explain what is going on. So that's what we're going to be talking about today is how you can get out of your content coma, and out of a wishful comparison.

This week we're talking about how to find and hire the right business coach.

Contrary to what you might think, I actually don't think that every client who comes to me is right for me or that I'm right for them. And the first tip before we even dive in is to find a coach that thinks that way too.
