Blame Your Brother - Episode 129 – Finger Guns to Michael Jackson
play

02/13/19 • 60 min

Apologies are made at the start of the show (as usual).  David had a busy weekend as he saw Lego Movie 2, attending a Wedding at a local odd church (possibly a cult), and met Kane during his lunch break.  The guys discuss Weezer’s Black Album and what are some of the best ‘Black Albums’ of all time (Jay-Z, Spinal Tap, AC/DC).

Why is it so easy to be bitter?  The hosts try to figure it out.  Also could John be a Billie Joe Telegram Singer?

The news segment features stories about Metro Police Officers leaving schools because of verbal abuse and Esquire ran an article about how tough it is to be white in America during Black History Month.

John gives advice to a dad who doesn’t want to go barefoot while at his daughter’s house.

play

09/14/18 • 60 min

Episode 109 features special guest: Raquel Redd!   Raquel is “Nashville’s Prominent Drag Queen” and comes on the show to talk about her gig at Stirrup, Nashville’s first Gay Sports Bar.

Topics discussed on 109 include:

  • Mariah Carey released a new single…and it’s not that great.
  • Lena Dunham released a shirt which stated: Fat isn’t Beautiful, It’s an Excuse.  This caused a lot of outrage on social media.  Was it warranted?  What does everyone think of Lena Dunham?  What do they think of millenials?
  • Elon Musk is back in the news. He wants a tunnel leading into your garage where we can all travel faster.
  • NRA TV somehow released a video of Thomas the Tank and friends wearing KKK Hoods. We try to sort through that nonsense.
  • John gives advice to a woman who’s a shopaholic and needs advice.  Advice is given!

Check out Raquel’s YouTube Series: Raquel Knows Nashville.  It’s entertaining!

Episode 199 is here!

The show starts off with a few technical problems but the guys continue on!  In apologies, retractions and omissions the hosts talk about last week's Definitive Chip List!  'Chips' were on the list that the listeners said were not chips at al!  Listen to Lee and John defend their choices.

The boys touch on Donald Trump's tweet about masks and Kanye's mental breakdown before being joined by Kristen Linton.

Kristen is a fan of Britney Spears and is on the show to talk about the Free Britney Movement.  Britney Spears has not controlled her financial or many career decisions since 2008 under a court-enacted agreement. A conservatorship is granted by a court for individuals who are unable to make their own decisions, like those with dementia or other mental illnesses.  Kristen talks about that situation and goes into detail.  She also lists some of her favorite Britney songs and makes a statement on her Double Denim Statement with Justin.

They talk about her legacy and list some of her great songs. Is Kanye aka YE losing his mind? Possibly. He expressed his love for Hitler and identified as a Nazi today. YIKES.
