Ep. 15: Hellraiser: Judgement
Black Horror Humor
11/16/21 • 43 min
Baylor, Drake and Leah are back together to watch a gory one this time. Hellraiser: Judgement is not for the faint of heart. If you love gore, this one's for you. This is the 8th installment in the Hellraiser series, and with a $350K budget and straight to DVD film, this was a decent watch. The crew discusses their takes on the film and how they'd fare in this world. Could you be a detective in this world? Let us know what you think! What are some points we missed? Them Pt 2 - Bonus Ep
Black Horror Humor
08/02/21 • 53 min
Baylor, Drake and Leah are back with a second installment of the review of the series Them (Amazon Prime). This series was written by Little Martin and produced by Lena Waithe. The trio have watched and reviewed the series in three parts. If you haven't checked out the first part, go back and listen to that, then check this one out.
Here, the hosts review episodes 4, 5, and 6. As stated in the first installment, this series follows a Black family in 1954 who, after a tragedy, moves from North Carolina to East Compton, Los Angeles, California. This is an all-white neighborhood that still had grandfathered anti-integration practices.
This is a hard watch, but definitely worth it to understand the savagery Black Americans went through to achieve the American Dream that was not necessarily accessible without major costs.

Black Horror Humor
12/07/20 • 54 min
BTG (Baylor the Great), Drake (MistaD713) and Leah watch the origin story of a 9-year-old villain. Well, kinda. This movie was selected by BTG who regretted his choice after 10 minutes into the film. Join the conversation as Drake devolves from an understanding case worker to an enraged bystander with every scene. Leah is here for the laughs, but it wasn't enough to move the needle of enjoyment as the group sits through this movie. They watched it so you don't have to. So, enjoy their take on it and let us know what you think.

Ep. 4: Gerald's Game
Black Horror Humor
11/16/20 • 31 min
While not technically a true horror movie, Gerald's Game was a fun ride for us. This movie showed just how just one straw can send a person spiraling into a psychotic break. Join MistaD713 (Drake), BTG (Baylor the Great), and Leah while we watch and review the film from their perspectives with some comedy thrown in the mix.
