Bioscope Brasse - Thor: Love and Thunder

Thor: Love and Thunder

07/20/22 • 59 min

Bioscope Brasse
Hello folks. The brasse are in a much better mood this week, it's either food related or pump related. Anyways, we go straight into an optimistic rant on the MCU where Ross helps Jody get over himself. We encourage people to make Tom Cruise even richer and start plotting out Top Gun: Rooster (cock-a-doodle-doo). We figure out that Iron Man is a wonderful analogy for the relationship between Marvel and Sony. We accidentally shit on the upcoming Kraven movie and Ross shoots his shot for a PS5. Our dream casting for Wolverine might actually pan out and someone we didn't know was retired is unretiring until they retire again. Ross' autobiography gets it's title and Jody adds even more superhero news. Abi confuses The Prestige with The Greatest Showman (typical Jody always bringing up Nolan damnit). We naturally segue into why Les Miserables singing sucked and we get into this week's review, Thor: Love and Thunder. Listen up as we dissect this movie with our brains! Shot for listening. 00:00 It starts here01:36 Let's get into the news01:41 Deadpool almost featured in Dr Strange 205:27 Top Gun 2 and Tom Cruise are killing it at the box office07:51 Kevin Feige sends warning to Sony11:25 Taron Egerton meets with Marvel14:05 Cameron Diaz was apparently retired16:39 Hugh Jackman teases fans19:29 It's time for a review of Thor: Love and Thunder34:42 Kwai or Naaai35:37 Spoilers start here54:10 Real Actual Shoutouts (Graziano's Gripes) Tik Tok: https://www.tiktok.com/@bioscopebrasseInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/bioscopebrassepodcast/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/BioscopeBrasseEmail: bioscopebrasse@gmailSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The Gray Man

Hello friends. What are Fridays if not just a Wednesday in disguise. We start off this week with a 2 minute review of how shit The Happening was. Ross really tries to make "Rappist" a word (don't think that's happening anytime soon) and definitively confirms that he is not Fiddy's mother. We chat about toxic fandoms and why toxic fans suck ass, this naturally leads us to agreeing with DJ Khaled. Somehow we have to talk about Zack Snyder, please make it end. Jody again spins his conspiracy theory that Netflix is a pyramid scheme (not sure his math works out) and we then explain to Netflix how to run their business. Abi wears holey socks and reminds Ross about his love for a good subscription. We reveal Marvel's shady business practices and advocate for better treatment for VFX workers. Marvel makes a return to SDCC and we cover some quick sticks news. Jamie Lee Curtis shoots herself in both feet and we eventually do an actual real life review.
