The brother and sister duo are back in the studio and it’s a jam-packed episode! They discuss Spike Lee’s new comedy-drama BlacKkKlansman which received great reception at this year’s Cannes Festival. The Obama’s have inked a deal with Netflix to produce scripted series, unscripted series, docu-series, documentaries, and features. And of course Insecure Season 3 will be gracing our screen very soon as a premiere date for the show has been announced. A report from the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain, called Gender Inequality and Screenwriters revealed just 14% of primetime TV dramas in the U.K. are written by women, so you know Julez has a lot to say about that. Plus with the recent #MuteRKelly hashtag and the domestic violence allegations against rappers Nas and Fabulous, Stephen and Julez have an honest conversation about whether you can separate the talent from the individual. Things are a little different this week, Stehen has full control of the episode so it’s only right he brought some music minded guests onto the show Dolapo and DrewMula if you are fan of music you'd definitely want to pay attention to these guys. With musicians on the show is somewhat a rarity so they discuss the process of songwriting, music production to what music is inspiring them at the moment.
