A Day in the Life of a Hollywood Background Actor

You see them all the time. Miscellaneous characters in the background of every scene. They populate the world, but you never hear them speak or learn their name. They're background actors (also known as "extras") -- and without them, television shows and movies simply wouldn't work. And if you want an easy way to be on a movie set or are just getting started as an actor, background acting is a great option and can be a lot of fun!
