Episode 12: An interview with Josephine Zarkovich

In recent years, the Portland art community has had a number of significant losses and it is preparing for one more with the departure of curator, Josephine Zarkovich to New York City. Josephine sits down with Ashley and Kendra and discusses what she has contributed to the Portland Art scene in the past 8 years. Other topics covered include art savvy toddlers, her essay, “Arranging the Deck Chairs,” the effect of the economic crash on artists, and a theoretical model Portland could use to change and recover the Arts in the region.
