Give sb a ride = give sb a lift

让某人搭便车。在路边向过往的车辆竖起大拇指意思就是I want a ride.

2. twinkie 夹心蛋糕(俚语:笨蛋 傻瓜)

朋友说起Burke医生I hear he's got some 20-year-old twinkie in the city.

是一种典型的美国蛋糕。但在这里指的是Richard在城里搭上的嫩草,也就是Monica。这个词还有笨蛋傻瓜的意思。吃嫩草的老牛会被叫做Sugar Daddy. 如果是熟女和小男生的搭配,熟女叫做cougar
