Notes:
Liz Archibald is a registered dietician and nutritional therapist who also holds an MPH in Nutritional Epidemiology from UNC-Chapel Hill and a degree in psychology from Duke University. She has 20 years of experience as a practicing nutritionist providing Medical Nutritional Therapy (MNT) to kids, adults, seniors and families. Liz specializes in eating disorders, sports nutrition, food allergies, sensitivities, and aversions, weight management, type 1 and 2 diabetes, lipid disorders, cardiovascular disease and cancer.
Liz’s philosophy: “ Nutrition is a science, but applying it is an art.” She combines her knowledge of biochemistry and nutrition with psychotherapeutic techniques (mindfulness, CBT) to enable clients to better understand themselves and their bodies in relation to what they eat. By utilizing this approach, her clients are able to make proper mindset and lifestyle changes to achieve long term health and success.
Liz has worked at Westchester Medical Center, as the senior nutritionist at The Wilkins Center for Eating Disorders, and then exclusively in private practice. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, American Diabetes Association and the Academy for Eating Disorders.
Liz also is fluent in Spanish, teaches cycling classes and lives in Ridgefield, CT with her husband and 2 daughters.

Sarah Fay is an award-winning author, creative writing teacher, and keynote speaker. Her journalistic memoir Pathological: The True Story of Six Misdiagnoses (HarperCollins) was an Apple Best Books pick, hailed in The New York Times as a “fiery manifesto of a memoir,” and named by Parade Magazine as one of the sixteen best mental health memoirs to read.

Her new memoir Cured, the sequel to Pathological, is being serialized on Substack through 2023: curedthememoir.com

Her work has been featured on NPR, Oprah Daily, Salon, Forbes, The Los Angeles Times , and more. She writes for many publications, including The New York Times, The Atlantic, Time, and The Paris Review , where she was an advisory editor.

Her essays have been chosen as a Notable Mention in Best American Essays and nominated for Pushcart Prizes. She’s the recipient of the Hopwood Award for Literature, as well as grants and fellowships from Yaddo, the Mellon Foundation, and the MacDowell Colony, among others.

She’s currently on the creative writing faculty at Northwestern University.
