Sickness is a way our bodies tell us that we need to slow down, rest, and recharge. We have to make sure to be more mindful of the foods we are putting into our bodies. It could help us or hurt us in the end. No matter how big or small, let’s take more daily actions to care for our bodies and health. Taking time for self-care is crucial at this time, now more than ever. With sickness, it’s important to speak life over your health and body. Pray. Drink water and tea. Stretch, do yoga, or exercise. Eat healthy fruits and veggies. Seek a doctor for regular checkups, and especially when something appears to be abnormal or concerning. This year, let’s make a commitment to nourish our bodies well and give it the care and attention it needs. Repeat after me: 1. I listen to my body 2. I nourish my body 3. I breathe deeply 4.
