Welcome to the very first episode of the ADHD Sisters Podcast! In today’s episode, we introduce ourselves and give you a glimpse into our lives.

We delve into the topic of hobbies and how they can relate to ADHD traits. Don’t worry if you haven’t received an ADHD diagnosis—I haven’t either, and Jo is currently on her journey through the diagnostic process. For decades, we have struggled with masking our true selves.

Most episodes will feature a brief theme, but we’ll be speaking off the cuff, so expect a few F-bombs as we reminisce about growing up in the 80s and 90s. Together, we have five children between us, and decades of lived experience of ADHD.

This is a safe space for women approaching or over 40 to explore the best paths for themselves.

I’m Gem, and I own an integrative health clinic in Manchester. I’m also a yoga teacher, health and wellness coach, and soon-to-be personal trainer. I specialize in women’s holistic health and run my own local Yogazise classes.

Jo is my sister, and she works with children with special needs, bringing over a decade of experience to her role.
