Without a doubt, Mike Campbell is the best-informed living authority on the disappearance of Amelia Earhart, having amassed thousands of documents and interviews with authors, journalists, witnesses,and persons involved in or knowledgeable of Earhart's life and untimely disappearance from the world stage on July 2nd, 1937.. Mike is a crash and capture proponent, and believes that all the other so-called theories out there are a waste of focus and energy, especially when the answer lies right in front of us. When I reached out to him for this interview, he said he did not do interviews, having grown disgusted with journalism's stubborn persistence to follow any and all explanations for her disappearance that didn't involve Japanese capture and imprisonment.
