“A Muslim & A Jew Go There” is a brand new podcast produced by Instinct Productions, hosted by comedian David Baddiel (author of “Jews Don’t Count”) and politician Sayeeda Warsi (“Muslims Don’t Matter”) who will take on whatever controversy hits the headlines each week, providing context and discussion around current political and cultural events involving and affecting British Muslims and Jews.
Covering topics from antisemitism in the Labour party and Islamophobia in the Conservative Party to debating concepts like “racism hierarchies”, “non-visible minorities” and “victim olympics”, as well as tropes and stereotypes, and the Middle East and its impact on Jewish and Muslim communities in Britain, this topical, often funny podcast will go there in a way others might not dare.

I love the translation done, there is currently no audio for it out there and I thought I'd do it since I'm reading it anyway.
disclaimer: This is not read by a professional voice actor. It was a personal project to read and record the Quran cover to cover in English for Ramadan 2020 while in quarantine. So stammering, and fixing mistakes will be noticed.

Hi Everyone! Welcome to my podcast, my name is Yara and I'm thrilled that you decided to share your time with me. I started this podcast because I'm currently on a journey of drawing myself closer to Allah (swt) and I started this journey because I realised how much I don't know about islam, and I also don't engage with the Quran and the sunnah of our Prophet Mohamed (PBUH) nearly as much as I should. So I decided to dedicate more of my time to learning more about my religion, and I thought one of the ways to keep myself accountable ( and maybe help someone out) is to share what I'm learning through this podcast.
It's my pleasure to have you on this journey with me, and I pray that it inspires you to start your own journey towards Allah (swt).
1st Disclaimer: I am in no way a scholar or a person who is devoted to islamic studies. Please don't take what I'm sharing too literally, I'm merely expressing my opinions (that really don't matter) 2nd Disclaimer: As an Egyptian I know the content I share should be mainly in Egyptian Arabic, but the environment I grew up in makes that a bit difficult. So in order to express myself freely, the podcast will mainly be in both English and Egyptian. If that's not your cup of tea then this podcast isn't for you. Everything I'm learning sparks all different kinds of questions and debates in my mind, so take this food for thought and hopefully it sparks even better questions in yours.
