I'm Dr. Margaret, a psychologist for over 25 years and the author of Perfectly Hidden Depression. I created The SelfWork Podcast in 2016 to explain mental health treatment, and to give you the chance to consider therapy without thinking it's weird or somehow suggests you can't "fix" your own problems. My team is so honored that five years later, SelfWork has earned nearly 3.5 million downloads! Each episode features the popular listener question. And, once a month, you’ll hear a “You Get the Gist” segment - a five minute run-down of a current topic - as well as an interview with an outstanding guest author or expert, adding to the wide diversity of topics listeners so appreciate. Regularly rated as one of the top mental health/depression podcasts out there, I keep it short and casual - and I'd love to hear from you. Please join me.

The science of the good life, huh? Sorry this is not about booze, sex and rock n'roll (or whatever is en vogue right now). In fact we talk about a lot of things that tree huggers would love: appreciation of beauty, gratitude, positive emotions, relationships and well, love. However we, that is positive psychologists and positive psychology practitioners buried ourselves in books, set out to experiment and then write it all up in a writing style that is about as exciting to read as watching an avocado turn brown. And that's the problem: if you are not an academic you probably want a little bit more excitement, than pages and pages of densely written journals can provide. Even if you are an academic, who has time to read all the interesting stuff out there anyways? So in an effort to save your eyes taking on a comically rectangular shape the positive psychology podcast brings the science of the good life to your earbuds. It's not all treehugger style though; sometimes we might get quite serious, for example when exploring things like post-traumatic growth or positive parenting. Subscribe if you want to benefit from the scientific insights into happiness and meaning while you are on the go. Let me know where you are while you are listening to this. If you like it review it, because that's the only way other people can find it too.

Mental health isn't just mental illness, it's in everything we do. There are ups and downs, it's beautiful and messy, and at the end of the day, life's a wreck. Thing is, that wreck is what makes us 'US' and isn't that worth celebrating? A layered and rich wreck of emotions, nuance and stories, all culminating in very human experiences. We believe that conversations surrounding mental health deserve to leave the tall shadow of stigma and have their moment in the limelight. Life's a Wreck aims to be a museum of mental health, a parlour to the people, curating the stories of others and examining a world kept hidden behind stigma with a joyous curiosity and passion for storytelling. Join Kyle Moore around our proverbial campfire to share stories about the world we live in looked at through the lens of mental health. This is Life's a Wreck.

Welcome to "The Touched Out Podcast," where your host, Carter, explores the journey of parenthood from expecting parent to veteran parent. Each episode features a new guest who shares their experiences, struggles, and victories as they navigate the ups and downs of parenting.

The podcast is an open and judgement-free space where I have honest conversations about the challenges of being a parent. I believe that parenthood is a journey that never truly ends, and that mental health is a vital aspect of that journey. Guests share their insights and offer advice to help other parents cope with the stresses and emotions that come with raising a child.

The phrase "Touched Out" reflects the feeling of overwhelm that many parents experience when their children constantly demand their attention. I understand that parenting can be exhausting and emotionally draining, and I want to provide a safe space where guests and listeners can share their experiences without fear of judgement.

My Guests come from all walks of life and share a variety of perspectives on parenthood. Some talk about their experiences with postpartum depression, while others discuss the challenges of managing work and family life. Each episode is a unique and personal story, and I hope that the listeners can find something to relate to in each conversation.

This podcast is a safe space where parents can come together and share their experiences. I believe that by talking openly about our struggles and emotions, we can help to break down the stigma surrounding mental health and create a more supportive and understanding community.

So if you're an expecting or veteran parent, or just someone interested in learning more about the mental health aspects of parenting, tune in to "The Touched Out Podcast" for open and honest conversations about the challenges and joys of parenthood.

Join the email list! Hey everyone, it’s me, Tiff! I’m an ex-therapist who has no idea what I’m doing most of the time, yet absolutely loving it. I started this podcast in 2021, which I describe as a "documentation of the inner workings of me". Some episodes are light-hearted and fun, and others are heavy and thought-provoking. Life is weird and sometimes hurts. This show was designed to cultivate a space where we can be honest about this and vibe with each other. I believe it’s okay to not have the answers, to be overwhelmed by all the things, and to be figuring out who you are till the day you die. If this sounds like something you’re down with, you might just be a cherry! Whether listeners tune in to learn, to laugh, or to ponder - my only hope is that it brings some sunshine to your week. Tune in for wild recurring segments (ex. Get to Know Me, Who Did You Kiss Today? Things That Bug, & What’s Going Down in Toni’s Dms?) tons of original songs (Hello Husband, Cup of Tiff, Riding in my 50’s, and Wings), and all of the TMI. The Creative AF podcast is going to dive smack dab into the intersection of creativity and mental health, thus the title... Creative, and F***ed. Now, I say that a little tongue in cheek to an extent but for those of us currently in this space and those of us who have managed to breakout of the space it can hit deep in the double meaning here. I want this to be a no-holds barred conversation that avoids any sort of work or boss bashing, but really focuses on what we can do as creatives to change the dialog and open up to the fact that this sh*t we do isn’t easy. While working as a creative and especially one in sports is insanely fun, and most of the time rewarding, the downs that come along with the ups are real and legit and no-one can or should tell us otherwise. I want to talk to you, all of you creatives out there who are silently, or not so silently fighting this struggle with mental health and wellness that undoubtedly we are all fighting. We are all fighting with your own demons, whatever they may be. For many of y’all it’s the burden of being overworked and underpaid. And for some of you it’s the constant feeling that you simply can’t dig out of the hole you are in just to gasp a small breath of air before you dive back down. I'm here to tell you there is a way to dig yourself out but it will take a concerted effort on your part. In this podcast I will talk with many industry leaders in the sports creative world who have learned how to best deal with the daily depression, anxiety and panic that is so prevalant in many of us today. We will cover topics such as compassion fatigue, cognitive dissonance, therapy, medication, communication techniques, toxic relationships, and so much more. Thanks for coming along with us on this ride!

Underneath it All, hosted by Grizel, we introduce mental health conversations in a relatable way by using the Enneagram framework. Through these conversations, we hope you can have a better understanding of others around you, learn to accept and fully embrace your own narrative, and to continue breaking the negative stigma that has engulfed mental health.
