We're all investors in the stock market, either directly or through our retirement plans. We're handing over management of our assets to financial advisors and fund managers. The best will look after our interests and make us wealthier. But how can we know for sure? Where are the investors' yachts? The big money on Wall Street is made by charging us fees. The finance industry is collecting for managing money, whether they win or lose or break even.

Where do you go if you're completely new but want to start learning about investing in the market yourself. The jargon is dense and it can feel like we're being kept deliberately in the dark with many confusing metrics.

In Stocks for Beginners you'll hear from people in the finance industry and together we'll explain the key concepts of investing while they share their financial knowledge. More importantly, they have insights that allow us to look under the hood of the stock market, explaining how it works and what to look out for.

How is your Roth 401 (k) or 401 (k) investment retirement account linked to the stock market? It's crucial to understand the fundamentals of stock markets. I recommend "The Intelligent Investor" by Benjamin Graham and Warren Buffett's newsletters.

I explore the basics - what a stock is and how to buy one, and delve into the world of value investing, exploring strategies to identify undervalued stocks. I cover the NYSE, FTSE, Dow Jones, S&P500, the Russell, CBOE (Chicago Board Options Exchange), ETFs (Exchange-Traded Funds), Mutual Funds, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), and the difference between passive and active investing.

There are many traps for beginner investors and it's good to be aware of the role and risks of options, warrants, CFDs (Contracts for Difference), day trading, bonds, cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum, the difference between fundamental and technical analysis.

Tracking your investments is essential, and it's important to know about watchlists, understand dividends, robo-investing, dollar-cost averaging, fixed income, index funds, and micro-investing.

What is the role of stockbrokers and online brokers and how to buy and sell stocks.

I've interviewed industry experts and collaborated with Gary Brode, Caleb Silver, Spencer Jakab from Wall Street Journal, Erik Smolinski, Investopedia, Stockopedia, Lawrence Carel, Deep Knowledge Investing, 2 bulls in a china shop.

We have to be smart. We have to be diversified and we have to have good risk management strategies if we want to invest for the long term. That's what I'm all about. I'm Phil Muscatello. Join me on Stocks for Beginners. For more information go to https://www.stocksforbeginners.net/

Tactical & effective meets grounded & honest in content creation, marketing, and content strategy. Real, practical, no B.S. advice, along with conversation about the lines between persuasion and manipulation in strategic content and marketing. I search out insights, strategies and tactics from the most accomplished thinkers and doers in the field. My name is Marion Abrams. And for my entire 30 plus year career, I've been working behind the scenes telling stories, selling products, promoting people, and communicating ideas. I'm coming out from behind the mixer and getting on the mic to talk about something I'm really passionate about, and I truly believe in. The idea is that you can market, message, tell stories, sell brands, products, people, ideas, nonprofits and events, authentically. That's what I mean by grounded content. I've worked in production in video as a shooter, a writer, a producer, a director, and editor, as a social media manager and consultant. And as a behind the scenes Podcast Producer. I've worked on network shows, documentaries, commercials for clients like Blue Cross, the US Ski Team, the Vermont lottery, National Grid, and Land Rover and seen my work on all the major networks. In 2014, I partnered with Joe De Sena. He's the founder and CEO of Spartan, which is now the world's largest endurance brand. He came to me and said let's do a podcast. Together we designed the concept, strategy, and format for the "Spartan Up podcast." We built it from an audience of zero to more than 40 million downloads and views and over 800 episodes. We've had lots of incredible guests you've heard of, and many you haven't heard of yet. Today, I'm starting my own podcast "Grounded Content", holistic, authentic, grounded, effective content. I interview leaders in the content marketing, marketing, and messaging business, and share my own experiences to help you create content that's effective, grounded, authentic, and purposeful. Whether your goal is to sell a product or to express an idea.

Songbird is a brutally honest, behind the scenes look at the songwriting and recording process. Based on Marco North's experiences with his debut album, Heaven Get Behind Me, he shares demos, hard-earned lessons, triumphs and finished tracks in each episode. An expat New Yorker living in Moscow, playing 100-year-old instruments, writing songs about Fellini dying, a French stalker, Kodachrome and California divorces, North shares one bittersweet anecdote after the next in this fascinating deep dive into his sparse, cinematic songs. Musicians will find inspiration, a healthy serving of laughter and great deal of comfort from this series. Music lovers will get an inside look at the creative process, and the story behind each song.

Do you feel the education system is sucking the life out of you and the pupils you serve? I think many of us wish we could click our fingers and make it fit for purpose. A place of growth with shared learning that empowers pupils to be their best selves, so they can create a world they want to inhabit now and in the future. While a magic wand or a visionary politician might sound like the answer I believe change is already happening. Educators are changing futures one conversation at a time. New technology and the environments where we learn are beginning to look different both in and out of the classroom. I hope you are seeing this first hand and are excited about what you can share with your pupils. We are having conversations, sharing organisations and communities that are supporting education in a way that you may have not experienced. Educational change will come from us all working in way that supports the best interests of each of our pupils, personalised learning. Governments and policy makers will follow when they see fully how it can be different. So let us teach, coach, mentor and create an environment that fuels every child with feedback, inspiration, resilience and empowerment. The Education on Fire community is shining the torch, so no matter where you are in the world or how you are supporting children this podcast is here for you. ‘Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.’

Hey Amiga, Welcome to The Fearless Mujer Podcast! I'm Micaela - a mother, published author, speaker, a storyteller at heart, and a Chicana who loves Jesus and her Cafecito! I'm a Mujer that believes that every heart is worth healing. It's why I pour into the mission of helping Mujeres create strategies to life's hurdles and setbacks; because I believe that every setback is a just a stepping stone to something greater. - Trust me I've lived it. And I also believe that every Mujer has a story worth telling. It's why I teach and coach women, to build and share their story through podcasting. So what is The Fearless Mujer? It's a space created for the girl who has ever felt rejected, alone, misunderstood, judged and without a seat at the table. It's a space for the girl who is ready to renew her mindset, let go of old versions that no longer serve her, and who's ready to step out of fear, stop caring what people think, and for the girl who's ready to fearlessly pursue the dreams God has put on her heart. So girl, I invite you to join me for real and raw conversations with Mujeres who are no longer holding back! Grab your Cafecito Hermosa, and let's do this!
